The incident occurred on the night of April 30th at Mohawk Place, where frontman John Floreani dove from the stage, resulting in an accident that left a fan injured.
The injured fan has been identified as Bird Piché, who sustained a catastrophic spinal cord injury while attending the concert. In response, Trophy Eyes immediately halted the show and accompanied Piché to the hospital, where she underwent extensive surgery. A GoFundMe page has been set up by her family and friends to cover her medical expenses, with nearly half of the $100,000 target raised so far.
Bird now faces a long road to recovery, and it is still uncertain what her prognosis will be. She will require rehabilitation after leaving the hospital and will not be able to work during this time.
