Ndego revealed that he had sold a parcel of land to the deceased soldier and two of his colleagues. According to him, the soldier, identified as Samed, had purchased the land for his brother who is also a soldier. The plan was for the soldiers to visit their newly acquired land on April 30. However, upon arrival, they discovered other individuals working on the same parcel of land.

Fiifi, who was overseeing the work on the land, refused to halt the construction or engage in mediation with the soldiers. This disagreement escalated to the point where the soldiers decided to seek assistance from the police. Fiifi, on the other hand, insisted on accompanying them to the police station to resolve the issue.

Tragic Turn of Events

As the soldiers were preparing to depart for the regional police command, Benlord, the alleged shooter, arrived at the scene. Ndego recounted that Benlord threatened him before instructing his associates to assault him. The situation took a deadly turn when Benlord fired a shot directly at the soldiers’ vehicle as they attempted to leave the site.
