A standoff ensued at the residence when 39-year-old Justin Michael Strawser barricaded himself inside the house, armed with a rifle and wearing body armor. Despite law enforcement’s attempts to negotiate with Strawser, he allegedly opened fire on deputies multiple times during the standoff.

Arrest of Ashlee Louise Klepfer

As the investigation progressed, Ashlee Louise Klepfer was arrested and charged with various offenses, including felony accessory after the fact, possession of methamphetamine, and failure to secure firearms from minors. Klepfer was taken into custody and held at the Iredell County Detention Center on a substantial bond set by Magistrate R. Imes.
