On a quiet Saturday morning in Goldsboro, officers from the Goldsboro Police Department responded to a ShotSpotter alert at Kim’s Beauty Supply on East Ash Street. The call came in at approximately 9:10 am, prompting a swift response from law enforcement.

Upon arriving at the scene, officers discovered Kristopher Marquise Faison, a 26-year-old Goldsboro resident, in the parking lot with a gunshot wound. Emergency medical personnel rushed Faison to UNC Health Wayne, but unfortunately, he was pronounced deceased upon arrival at the hospital.
