First Accident Near Mandu on Ranchi-Patna National Highway

The first tragic incident took place near Mandu on the Ranchi-Patna national highway. A 68-year-old man and his son, who were returning home in an ambulance, lost their lives in the accident. The ambulance, carrying Mahadeo Yadav and his son Manoj Yadav, collided with two motorcycles and a car before crashing into a roadside tree. The impact of the collision left the father and son dead on the spot, while five others sustained injuries.

According to Mandu police station in-charge Ranjit Kumar, the ambulance driver and four individuals on motorcycles were among the injured. The ambulance was en route to Koderma from Ranchi’s Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) when the tragic incident occurred. The injured individuals were initially taken to a nearby community health centre and later transferred to RIMS for further treatment.

Second Accident in Patratu Area

In a separate incident in the Patratu area of Ramgarh district, a four-year-old boy named Ayush Kumar lost his life when an auto-rickshaw overturned. The auto-rickshaw, traveling from Sitka in Ramgarh district to Budhmu in Ranchi district, met with the accident, resulting in injuries to four other passengers.
