Chinea, 29, from Kansas City, Missouri. A passenger in the Jeep, Eric M. Diaz, 22, from Melbourne, Florida, was pronounced dead at the scene. Karabas was taken to Overland Park Regional Medical Center for treatment of serious injuries. The driver of the semi, Chinea, thankfully escaped unharmed. According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, Karabas was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.

He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was transported to Frontier Forensics for further investigation. Karabas, the driver of the Jeep, sustained serious injuries and was rushed to Overland Park Regional Medical Center for treatment. Thankfully, Chinea, the driver of the semi truck, emerged from the accident unscathed.
