In a heartbreaking turn of events, the remains of a missing 17-year-old girl, Kaitlin Whoolery, have been found in North Union Township, Pennsylvania. Kaitlin, who went missing on November 23, was last seen going for a walk before she mysteriously disappeared.

The grim discovery took place on Tuesday, April 16, near an abandoned home in the area of Hogsett Lane. Fayette County Coroner Bob Baker confirmed the identity of the remains on Tuesday, April 23, bringing closure to the Whoolery family after months of uncertainty.

I knew when we didn’t hear from her all that time it was just an affirmation of what I thought.”
