A man was hospitalized and two individuals were taken into custody following a shooting in Bloomington on Friday night. The incident occurred in the 100 block of South Curry Pike at approximately 10:55 p.m.
Victim Transported to Hospital
Upon responding to reports of a person shot, officers from the Bloomington Police Department found a 56-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was swiftly transported to a local hospital where he underwent surgery. Fortunately, medical professionals expect him to make a full recovery.
Suspects Flee the Scene
Following the shooting, witnesses reported seeing multiple suspects fleeing from the apartment where the incident took place. Subsequently, at 11 p.m., officers spotted two individuals walking along a tree line near Highland Village Church and a nearby parking lot.
