Additional human remains believed to be of Sade Robinson, the 19-year-old college student who went missing following a first date, have been found washed ashore on a Lake Michigan beach in South Milwaukee, Wisconsin, as per a recent update from the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office.

A Shocking Turn of Events

RELATED STORIES

The grim findings come weeks after Robinson, a student at Milwaukee Area Technical College, went on a first date with 33-year-old Maxwell Anderson. She failed to show up for her shift at a Wisconsin pizza restaurant, prompting a search for her whereabouts.

Police have uncovered several body parts believed to be Robinson’s scattered in the area, and her vehicle was severely damaged by fire, according to a criminal complaint.

Charges and Legal Proceedings

Anderson was charged last Friday in connection with Robinson’s death with first-degree intentional homicide, mutilating a corpse, and arson. He is set to appear in court for a preliminary hearing on Monday at the Milwaukee County Courthouse Criminal Justice Facility, as confirmed by his legal representatives.

Anthony Cotton, an attorney representing Anderson, stated that his client “is presumed innocent and we will fight this matter vigorously in court.”

Continued Investigation

The sheriff’s office initiated an investigation into Robinson’s death after a severed human leg was found on the beach in Warnimont Park, a Milwaukee suburb of Cudahy, on April 2. Subsequent remains believed to be Robinson’s were discovered in Milwaukee.

The sheriff’s office has already arranged for a sonar detection boat to further search Lake Michigan for Robinson’s remains and additional evidence.

Heartfelt Condolences

On the same day, Steven Anderson, the suspect’s father, issued a statement through the law firm representing his son, expressing condolences to Robinson’s family and offering support during their time of grief.

He requested privacy for his family to process the tragedy and extended sympathy to Robinson’s loved ones.

A Tragic Circumstance

According to a criminal complaint, Robinson had planned a first date with Anderson at a local seafood restaurant. She was reported missing after failing to show up for work the next day, which raised concerns among her colleagues.

Robinson’s vehicle was discovered on fire the morning after her date, and authorities were able to identify items from the scene that confirmed her presence there.

A verified GoFundMe for Robinson’s memorial service described her as a loving daughter, cherished sister, and dear friend to many. Originally from Mississippi, Robinson was about to graduate from Milwaukee Area Technical College and pursue a career in criminal justice.
