Orlando, Fla. police have arrested another suspect in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred in February, resulting in one death and six injuries in the Rosemont neighborhood. The incident, which took place near Ironwedge Drive and S. Lake Orlando Parkway, involved a dispute between two groups over a vehicle not being returned on time. The video footage shows the deceased individual firing the first shot before being killed by another armed person. The suspect, 20-year-old Daiquan Noah Robinson, has been charged with attempted first-degree murder, shooting into an occupied vehicle, and carrying a concealed firearm. ORLANDO, Fla. — Another arrest has been made in connection with the tragic shooting incident that took place in the Rosemont neighborhood of Orlando back in February, resulting in the death of one individual and injuries to six others.

The incident occurred on the night of Feb. 28, around 11 p.m., near the intersection of Ironwedge Drive and S. Lake Orlando Parkway, where officers responded to reports of a shooting.

Upon arrival, law enforcement discovered the body of a young man, identified as 21-year-old James Jerry Williams, who had succumbed to his injuries.

Video evidence revealed that “the decedent fired the first shot before being fatally wounded by another individual who was armed,” according to police reports.

Authorities stated that the shooting incident stemmed from a prior altercation between two groups earlier in the day, related to a dispute over the return of a vehicle by an agreed-upon date.

In a recent development, the Fugitive Investigative Unit apprehended 20-year-old Daiquan Noah Robinson in connection with the shooting. Robinson is facing charges of attempted first-degree murder with a firearm, shooting into an occupied vehicle, and carrying a concealed firearm.

In a separate development, 40-year-old Shamika Rose Stubbs-Peterson was also arrested by the FIU and charged with various offenses including burglary of an occupied conveyance with battery, false reports to law enforcement, and providing false information to law enforcement during an investigation, as well as battery.

The initial arrest following the shooting took place the day after the incident, with Wayne Anthony Grant Jr. being apprehended on charges of aggravated battery related to the shooting.
