The victim, identified as Edward Goto, was attacked by the assailant Brighton Nyamukapira, who is currently at large. The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) confirmed the incident and are seeking information to apprehend Nyamukapira. In another case, Serial Mudzudza was arrested for the murder of Edgar Magaya in Seke. Additionally, Kudzanai Murwira is wanted for the murder of Wiseman Chakavanda in Mahusekwa. The ZRP is also investigating the death of an unidentified male adult found in a maize field in Harare. Tragic Death in Harare: Man Killed Over Alleged Theft of Sadza
A heartbreaking incident occurred in Warren Park, Harare, where a 38-year-old man named Edward Goto lost his life in a senseless act of violence. The perpetrator, identified as Brighton Nyamukapira, is currently on the run, leaving a grieving family and community in shock.
The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) confirmed the tragic incident, revealing that Goto was stabbed in the neck with a sharp object after being accused of stealing sadza. The altercation took place in a car park in Warren Park D, Harare, on April 12, 2024, leading to Goto’s untimely demise.
Seeking Justice for the Victims
Unfortunately, Goto’s case is not an isolated incident in Zimbabwe. In a related matter, police arrested Serial Mudzudza in connection with the murder of Edgar Magaya in Madhovi Village, Seke. Mudzudza allegedly used a six-pound hammer to strike Magaya on the head during a heated argument.
Furthermore, the authorities in Mahusekwa are actively pursuing Kudzanai Murwira for the murder of Wiseman Chakavanda in Nzvere Village. Chakavanda was found dead in his bedroom after being assaulted by Murwira over an undisclosed issue. The police urge anyone with information to come forward and assist in bringing the perpetrator to justice.
Unsolved Mysteries and Tragic Discoveries
While some cases have led to arrests, others remain shrouded in mystery. The ZRP is currently investigating the death of an unidentified male adult found in a maize field in Kuwadzana 5 Paddocks, Harare. The body, in an advanced state of decomposition, was taken to Sally Mugabe Hospital mortuary for further examination.
In a separate incident in Mutumbi Village, Seke, Dema, a male adult aged approximately 50-55 was discovered dead along an unnamed dust road. The ZRP is seeking assistance from the public to identify the deceased and shed light on the circumstances surrounding his passing.
