A tragic incident occurred in Sahiwal, where a nine-year-old child named Nasir was brutally tortured to death by his neighbours over a minor dispute. The altercation began when Nasir slapped Bilal, the son of his neighbour, during a play session. In retaliation, Bilal’s family, including his grandfather Ashfaq Gul and mother Shabana, dragged Nasir to their house and subjected him to severe torture. Despite being rushed to the hospital, Nasir could not be saved. The Chichawatni Saddar Police have taken action by booking four individuals, but Nasir’s father Imran claims that the suspects are still threatening him. Tragic Incident in Sahiwal: Child Tortured to Death by Neighbours
In a heartbreaking incident that has shocked the community of Chak 40/12-L in Chichawatni tehsil, a nine-year-old child named Nasir was brutally tortured to death by his neighbours over a minor dispute. The incident took place on March 31, when Nasir was playing with a child from the neighbouring family, Bilal, son of Muhammad Rafaqat, on the street.
Altercation and Tragic Consequences
During their playtime, a minor disagreement escalated, leading to Nasir slapping Bilal. Enraged by this, Bilal ran home and complained to his family. In a horrifying turn of events, Bilal’s grandfather, Muhammad Ashfaq Gul, along with Bilal’s mother, Shabana, took hold of Nasir and dragged him to their house, where they subjected him to brutal torture.
Desperate Attempts to Save Nasir
Upon learning of the incident, Nasir’s father, Imran, along with other concerned neighbours, rushed to Ashfaq’s house. They found Nasir lying unconscious in a cart, with Ashfaq and his family trying to revive him. Despite their efforts, Nasir was unresponsive.
Tragic Outcome at the Hospital
Nasir was immediately rushed to the Chichawatni Tehsil Headquarters Hospital, but tragically, the doctors pronounced him dead upon arrival. The Chichawatni Saddar Police were informed and promptly arrived at the hospital to investigate the matter. An autopsy was conducted to determine the cause of Nasir’s death.
Seeking Justice for Nasir
Imran, devastated by the loss of his son, filed a complaint with the police against four individuals involved in the heinous act – Ashfaq Gul, Shabana Bibi, Rehana, and Ghazala. Despite his pleas for swift action, Imran expressed frustration with the lack of progress in holding the perpetrators accountable.
