The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is currently conducting a death investigation after the body of a deceased man was discovered near the Arkansas River in Arkansas. Identification of the Deceased
The body was later identified as that of 60-year-old Andrew Hutchinson, a resident of Pine Bluff. Family members of the victim have revealed that he was last seen in Jonesboro nearly a month ago on February 12, 2024. Police are now seeking assistance from the public in piecing together his whereabouts between the last known sighting and the discovery of his body near the river.
Examination at the Arkansas State Crime Lab
Following the recovery of the victim’s body, it was transported to the Arkansas State Crime Lab for further examination. The authorities are hoping that the examination will shed light on the cause of his death, providing crucial information for the ongoing investigation.
