Man Dies While Snowmobiling in Pittsburg, New Hampshire
Last Friday, a tragic incident occurred in Pittsburg, New Hampshire, where a man lost his life while snowmobiling. The New Hampshire Fish and Game Department has identified the victim as Mark Lamothe, 64, of Freedom.
According to reports, Lamothe was snowmobiling with a group of riders when he encountered some difficulty navigating a turn at slow speed. Other riders witnessed him tipping his snowmobile on its side around 1:45 p.m.
911 Call and CPR Attempts
Concerned for Lamothe’s well-being, the other riders immediately called 911 and began performing CPR on him. Despite their efforts, life-saving measures were unsuccessful, and Lamothe was pronounced dead at the scene shortly before 3 p.m.

Investigators believe that Lamothe may have suffered a medical emergency while snowmobiling, leading to the tragic outcome. They are currently working closely with the Medical Examiner’s Office to determine the exact cause of death.
