Man Killed and Another Injured in Shooting Incident in Sandy, Utah

Sgt. Greg Moffitt, who provided details of the incident to ABC4, stated that the shooting occurred around 3:30 a.m. near the intersection of 7800 South and 635 East. The exact circumstances leading to the altercation and subsequent gunfire are still under investigation.
During the altercation, at least one person produced a firearm, leading to shots being fired. Tragically, a man in his 30s sustained fatal injuries as a result of the shooting. Another man in his 20s was also shot and has been transported to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. The extent of his injuries has not been disclosed at this time.
