Colorado Springs Police Search for Woman in Connection to Double Murder in Stetson Hills
(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) is currently conducting a search for a woman believed to be involved in a tragic double murder in Stetson Hills that occurred just days before Christmas. This horrifying incident resulted in the untimely deaths of two innocent children.
According to CSPD, they received a distressing call about a burglary at an apartment complex located in the 5300 block of Palomino Ranch Point, near Stetson Hills and Tutt Boulevards, at approximately 12:30 a.m. on Tuesday, December 19. Upon arrival, officers discovered an adult woman and an 11-year-old girl who had sustained injuries.
Tragically, inside the home, CSPD also found the lifeless bodies of a 9-year-old girl and a 7-year-old boy.

The woman involved has been identified as Kimberlee Singler, a 35-year-old who is the mother of the three children. Both Singler and the 11-year-old girl received immediate medical attention from the Colorado Springs Fire Department and AMR before being transported to the hospital.
Upon further investigation, CSPD determined that the initial report of a burglary was unfounded.
On December 26, investigators built a compelling case against Singler, resulting in the issuance of an arrest warrant. Singler is now wanted on multiple charges, including multiple counts of First Degree Murder, Attempted First Degree Murder, Child Abuse, and Assault.
As of now, Singler’s whereabouts remain unknown. The last confirmed sighting of her was on December 23. The court has set a substantial bond of $10 million. It is worth noting that the details of the arrest warrant are currently sealed under a court order, but it is expected that they will be revealed in due course.
The investigation into this heartbreaking incident remains active and ongoing. CSPD urges anyone with information or who may have witnessed any relevant events to immediately contact them at (719) 444-7000.
