The missing individuals have been identified as Mahfuzur Rahman Rana, a businessman hailing from Dhaka’s Dhanmondi area, and Harunur Rashid, a member of the Malkhanagar union in Sirajdikhan.
The rescue operation, carried out by the BIWTA, was initiated promptly after the incident was reported.
