A Tragic Incident: 20-Year-Old Labourer Electrocuted While Clearing Debris of Collapsed Mobile Tower
In a heart-wrenching incident on Sunday, a 20-year-old labourer named Jatin Kumar lost his life due to electrocution while engaged in the challenging task of cleaning the debris of a recently collapsed mobile tower. The unfortunate incident occurred on Laggere Main Road in Nandini Layout.
Jatin Kumar was an integral part of a dedicated team of crane operators, entrusted with the responsibility of removing the debris. Tragically, during the debris removal process, the crane accidentally came into contact with a live electricity wire. The impact of the electric shock caused Jatin to collapse on the ground, while his fellow workers also experienced a severe jolt, being thrown away from the crane. Fortunately, the other workers sustained only minor injuries.
Immediately after the incident, Jatin was rushed to the nearest hospital. However, despite the best efforts of the medical staff, they were unable to save his life, and he was declared dead.
