A tragic incident occurred in Sun Valley on Saturday night, resulting in the death of a 15-year-old expectant father. The young teenager, known as Carlos, was standing near parked cars at the intersection of Strathern and White streets when a vehicle traveling east on Strathern lost control and struck him. The Los Angeles Police Department revealed these details in a news release.
The driver of the vehicle, a 22-year-old man, also crashed into the parked cars before hitting Carlos. Emergency services rushed the teenager to a nearby hospital, but unfortunately, he was pronounced dead. The LAPD has taken the driver into custody, although his identity and potential charges have not been disclosed at this time.
