Scott Fisher Arrested and Charged in Connection with Kimberly Wong’s Murder

Scott Fisher, the boyfriend of the late Kimberly Wong, has been apprehended and charged in connection with her tragic death. Fisher, who is accused of using a knife to fatally wound his 27-year-old girlfriend, appeared in court on Monday. He is currently being held in jail without bail.

The San Francisco Police Department launched a well-being check at Wong’s apartment in Presidio Heights on November 30, where they found her unresponsive. Despite efforts to revive her, Wong was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities subsequently arrested Fisher, who shared the apartment with the victim, on suspicion of murder. This incident marks San Francisco’s first domestic violence-related homicide of 2023.

Neighbour Medum Choe expressed deep shock over Wong’s untimely demise, describing her as a “remarkably bright and outgoing” individual.

“We’ve been in a state of shock for the past couple of weeks. What happened is an absolute tragedy. We’re relieved that the suspect has been apprehended and are hopeful that this marks the beginning of the path to justice for Kimberly,” Choe told SFGATE.

The 29-year-old suspect made a brief appearance in court on Monday afternoon, during which San Francisco Superior Court Judge Victor M. Hwang appointed the Public Defender’s Office to represent him.
