According to the police, the accused, identified as Shiva, works as a mason. On that fateful evening, Shiva returned home from work, only to be infuriated by his son, Sanju, who had ventured outside towards the road. Sanju, innocently unaware of the consequences, had woken up from his sleep and curiously explored the world beyond the confines of their house.
In a fit of rage, Shiva sternly warned Sanju not to venture out any further, but the young child failed to heed his father’s instructions and continued his exploration. This disobedience triggered an uncontrollable anger within Shiva, prompting him to lock Sanju inside the house and subject him to a horrific and merciless beating.
The severity of the assault was such that Sanju’s life could not be saved, despite immediate efforts to rush him to the hospital. Devastatingly, the doctors pronounced him dead upon arrival, leaving the entire community in shock and mourning the loss of such a young and innocent life.

Family members have come forward with allegations suggesting that Shiva may have committed this heinous act out of suspicion regarding his wife’s fidelity. They claim that Lalithamma, Sanju’s mother, had left the house to buy vegetables from the market, taking their six-month-old baby with her at the time of the incident.
The couple, originally from Buduru village in Mantralayam mandal of Kurnool district, had relocated to Ameerpet in Maheshwaram in search of employment opportunities. Alongside Sanju and the infant, they have another four-year-old son named Pranay, who fortunately was not present during the tragic incident.
