Yucca Valley, CA – A 71-year-old substitute teacher is currently under investigation after allegations that she assaulted a high school student at Yucca Valley High School earlier this week. The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department responded to the incident on December 4th, following reports of an assault on a student by a staff member.
The staff member in question has been identified as Alice Barbee, a resident of Twentynine Palms.
