37-Year-Old North Carolina Woman Arrested for Slamming 3-Year-Old Son to Death

Subsequent surveillance footage reportedly captured Hughes slamming her son on the sidewalk. Garcia remained immobile for over an hour before receiving medical attention. Doctors at the hospital discovered that Garcia had suffered a skull fracture and sustained a large rash on his face.
