Ohio Man Allegedly Kills Wife, 4-Month-Old Baby, and 9-Year-Old Child Before Taking His Own Life

An alarming incident took place in Lorain, Ohio, as a man is accused of committing a horrific act of violence, resulting in the deaths of his wife, 4-month-old baby, and 9-year-old child. The gruesome discovery was made on Sunday, November 19, when Lorain police responded to a report of loose dogs running in the neighborhood. Upon entering the apartment, officers found the lifeless bodies of the family members. The tragic incident is believed to be a murder-suicide, with the investigation still ongoing.

The Lorain police received a distress call around 10 a.m. reporting the presence of loose dogs in the area, which were later found to belong to the occupants of an upstairs apartment in a nearby building. The police officers arrived at the scene and discovered the apartment door ajar. As they entered the premises, they discovered the lifeless body of 29-year-old Tyler Young, lying on the living room floor. Adjacent to him was a 9 mm pistol, believed to be the weapon used in the devastating act.

Continuing their search, the officers found the bodies of Tyler Young’s wife, 24-year-old Skylar Young, and their 4-month-old baby, Bandin Young, both with fatal gunshot wounds. Additionally, the lifeless body of Skylar Young’s 9-year-old daughter, Angel Isaac, was also found in the apartment. The police estimate that the killings occurred between 1 a.m. and 10 a.m., indicated by the presence of the loose dogs during that time.

Lt. Jacob Morris, speaking at a news conference streamed by WJW, revealed that the Lorain Police Department is currently treating the incident as a murder-suicide committed by Tyler Young. The police also discovered three firearms within the apartment and reported a history of domestic violence. In a previous incident in May, authorities were summoned to a business parking lot after Tyler Young allegedly strangled and physically assaulted Skylar Young. It was also mentioned that during this incident, Tyler Young experienced a mental health episode; however, an official diagnosis was yet to be confirmed by the police.
