Man Arrested for Breaking into Warehouse and Causing Disturbances in Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – A man is facing charges after allegedly breaking into a warehouse and causing disturbances at several local businesses in northern Colorado Springs.

The incident took place in the 5000 block of North Nevada, near the I-25 and Rockrimmon exit.

According to authorities, the suspect identified as Andre Reed forcefully entered a warehouse in the vicinity. Upon discovery, employees confronted Reed, prompting him to flee in an attempt to evade capture. During his escape, one employee sustained injuries.

Local law enforcement quickly responded to the scene, but Reed managed to escape in his vehicle. However, his escape was short-lived as he proceeded to cause disturbances at three additional businesses in the area.

After a series of disruptions, the authorities were able to locate Reed on Interstate 25. It remains undisclosed where exactly on the highway he was apprehended. Fortunately, no further injuries have been reported in relation to the incidents.
