Shortly after, law enforcement officers spotted the suspect vehicle as it pulled into the driveway of a residence located on Grand Avenue. Swiftly conducting a traffic stop, the police were able to apprehend the driver, identified as Jared Parizo, following a brief interaction. However, upon the arrival of the authorities, the passenger, Enrique Hemingway, promptly fled into the house.

After a few minutes, Hemingway emerged from the residence and engaged in a confrontational altercation with the officers. To everyone’s surprise, a juvenile male also exited the van and caught the officers off guard, granting Parizo the opportunity to break free and deliver a kick to one of the officers’ shins. Nevertheless, the police swiftly regained control of the situation and successfully placed both Parizo and Hemingway into a police cruiser.

During the course of the investigation, the juvenile male corroborated the victim’s account, confirming that Parizo had indeed discharged the firearm at him. Subsequently, Hemingway was remanded into custody, with bail set at $10,000, and was arraigned on Wednesday for charges of aggravated assault.

On the other hand, Parizo received a citation and is required to appear in court in December to answer for the charge of simple assault on a police officer.
