GUNAA mourns the loss of Myron Lampkin, class of 1979.

Death – Obituary News : Myron Lampkin, a member of the class of 1979, has passed away. The Grambling University National Alumni Association (GUNAA) expressed their condolences to the Lampkin family.

We are deeply saddened to report the passing of Mr. Myron Lampkin, a distinguished alumnus of Grambling State University. Mr. Lampkin, a member of the class of 1979, leaves behind a legacy that will be remembered for generations to come.


Born and raised in Birmingham, England, Myron Lampkin was an exceptional individual who possessed a profound passion for education and community development. He moved to the United States in the early 1970s to pursue higher education and enrolled at Grambling State University. During his time at the university, Lampkin excelled both academically and socially, becoming an admired figure among his peers.

Following his graduation, Lampkin dedicated his life to making a positive impact on society.
