death – Obituary News : Sheri Pendergraft Obituary: A Beloved Member of the Connersville Community

It is with deep sadness that we mourn the loss of Sheri Lynn Laws Pendergraft, a cherished and respected member of our close-knit community in Connersville, Indiana. Sheri was born on August 16, 1967, in Dayton, Ohio, and throughout her life, she remained a devoted resident of Connersville. Unfortunately, on August 19, 2023, Sheri peacefully passed away in the comfort of her own home, leaving behind a legacy of love, family, and profound impact on all those fortunate enough to have crossed paths with her.

Sheri is survived by her beloved husband, Michael Pendergraft, who stood by her side through all the joys and challenges of life. Their unwavering bond and lifelong commitment to one another were an inspiration to all who knew them. Sheri’s family was the cornerstone of her existence, and she treasured the love and support they provided her. Her mother, Wilma Jean Fox, played an instrumental role in shaping Sheri’s values and nurturing her throughout her life.

Together with her siblings, Sheri formed a tight-knit circle of love, companionship, and shared experiences. Her sister, Kimberly Lynn Laws (Sherman), her sister Jennifer Lynn Laws-Sizemore, and her brother Michael Townsend (Jane) were not only her siblings but also her closest confidants and friends. The bond they shared was unbreakable, and their memories together are a testament to the love that flowed within their family.

Sheri’s warmth, kindness, and genuine nature extended to her nieces, nephews, and cousins. She held a special place in their hearts, and her presence brought joy and comfort to their lives. In addition, Sheri was a source of strength and support for her brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and her mother-in-law, Ann Pendergraft. Her ability to bring people together and create a sense of unity was truly remarkable.

In remembrance of Sheri’s life and to honor her journey, a visitation will be held at the Urban Winkler Funeral Home on Thursday, August 24, 2023, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. This gathering will give family, friends, and community members an opportunity to come together and pay their respects to a woman who touched so many lives in profound ways. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held to celebrate Sheri’s life, highlighting the impact she made and the memories she created.

Sheri’s devotion to her family was unparalleled, and her greatest joy in life came from her beloved grandchildren. She showered them with love, affection, and wisdom, leaving an indelible mark on their hearts. Her legacy will forever be remembered through the precious memories she created with each person she encountered.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the funeral home. These contributions will assist with the funeral expenses associated with Sheri’s passing, allowing her loved ones to focus on celebrating her life and cherishing the memories they shared.
