Marilyn was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Downing, and her son, Steve Downing. However, her love and influence live on through her cherished grandchildren: Curtis Barnes, Dustin Barnes, Jarrod Wilkerson, Nathan Wilkerson, James Downing, Danielle McCoy, and Natalie Cole. Additionally, Marilyn’s light shines through seven great-grandchildren who brought immense joy to her life.
A Final Farewell
To honor Marilyn’s life and share our condolences, a graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 23rd, 2023, at 2:00 PM at the Greenwood Cemetery. Following this, a funeral service will also take place on the same day and location, providing an opportunity for friends and family to pay their respects and bid their final farewells.
