He then played for two seasons at the University of Arkansas before transferring to Houston in 2020. Chaney had a productive college career, averaging three points, 2.7 rebounds, and 0.7 steals per game. He averaged 4.8 points and 3.4 rebounds per game during his two seasons with the Razorbacks.
