Rodger Moore was a faithful member of Central Christian Church in Hattiesburg, where he tirelessly served his congregation and community. His commitment to his faith was evident in every aspect of his life, and his ministry touched the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. Before his time with Central Christian Church, Rodger served as a pastor for the United Methodist Church in Central Mississippi, where he shared his spiritual guidance and support with congregations throughout the region. His sermons were not just words, but a source of inspiration, hope, and comfort for all who listened.

A Legacy of Compassion and Dedication

In the later years of his life, Rodger extended his compassion and dedication to Southern Christian Services in Jackson, MS, where he continued to make a positive impact on countless lives for five years. His work with this organization further exemplified his commitment to helping those in need and spreading love throughout the world. Rodger’s legacy also includes his remarkable tenure as the State Director for Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) for nine years. His tireless efforts to combat drunk driving and provide support to those affected by it left an indelible mark on our community.
