A deadly crash in Elmina, Malaysia, resulted in the deaths of 10 individuals, including eight passengers on a private jet and two road users. The victims have been identified, including a Grab driver and a food delivery rider. The pilot of the plane was a family man with four children. Funeral arrangements are being discussed with the son-in-law of a company’s president. TRP reported

The photograph provided depicts the aftermath of a tragic crash that occurred recently, resulting in the loss of 10 lives. Among the victims were eight individuals who were on board a private jet called Beechcraft Premier 1, while the other two were innocent bystanders in the Elmina township near Sungai Buloh. The Transport Minister, Anthony Loke, has released the names of those on the flight manifest, including the pilots Shahrul Kamal Roslan and Heikal Aras Abdul Azim, as well as passengers Datuk Seri Johari Harun, Khairul Azwan Jamaludin, Mohamad Naim Fawwaz Mohamed Muaidi, Muhammad Taufiq Mohd Zaki, Shaharul Amir Omar, and Idris Abdol Talib @ Ramali.

As for the victims on the ground, one was a food delivery rider from Sidam, Kedah, identified as Sharipuddin Shaari, who worked for the e-hailing company Grab. It is believed that he was alone in his car at the time of the crash, as he had not taken on any new passengers since 2pm, and the crash occurred at 2.41pm. His wife, Suriana, received a selfie from him shortly before the accident, in which he mentioned a cut he sustained from his spectacles.

Muhamad Hafiz Muhamad Salleh, a 32-year-old food delivery rider from Sidam, Kedah, was also among the victims. His cousin, Nurul Nazihah, expressed her shock and described him as a good person.

Another victim of the crash was Datuk Seri Johari Harun, a Pelangai assemblyman representing Barisan Nasional (BN) in Pahang. He held the position of state executive councillor (exco) for the Local Government, Housing, Environment and Green Technology Committee. Prior to entering politics, Johari was a businessman and was actively involved in the Bentong Umno division. He was married to Datin Seri Maziah Samsudin.

The pilot of the ill-fated plane, Shahrul Kamal Roslan, was a 42-year-old family man with four children. His mother, Mahanom Ismail, revealed that his last words to her were “Adik sayang mama sangat-sangat” (I love you so much, mom). Additionally, it was announced by Johor Corporation (JCorp) that one of the crash victims was the son-in-law of the company’s president and chief executive, Datuk Syed Mohamed Syed Ibrahim. The son-in-law’s name was not disclosed.
