Deangelo Davon Alston, a 35-year-old man from Myrtle Beach, has been arrested by Williamsburg County deputies for a fatal shooting outside a club in Kingstree. Alston faces charges including murder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, and pointing a firearm at a person. The victim, identified as 33-year-old Chadrick McKnight, was found dead at the scene. Williamsburg County deputies have apprehended a Myrtle Beach resident in relation to a tragic shooting incident that occurred outside a club in the Kingstree area. Deangelo Davon Alston, aged 35, has been charged with several serious offenses including murder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, possession of a firearm by a person previously convicted of a violent felony, and pointing and presenting a firearm at another individual. Investigator Jalisa Brown provided this information.

On August 9, deputies promptly responded to reports of a shooting incident in the vicinity of Buster Graham’s Club on Cypress Avenue. The victim, later identified as 33-year-old Chadrick McKnight, was discovered by law enforcement near a residence on Cypress Avenue. Despite the efforts of first responders to provide medical assistance, McKnight tragically succumbed to his injuries.

Authorities from the Williamsburg County Sheriff’s Office, in collaboration with the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division, successfully apprehended Alston on Thursday. Presently, he is being detained in the secure facilities of the Williamsburg County Detention Center..
