Associates of Himanshu Gang Arrested; Mohit and Nitin Sehrawat Nabbed in Police Raid

Two associates of Himanshu alias Bhau Gang, Mohit Sehrawat and Nitin Sehrawat, were arrested by the Special Cell, South Western Range (SWR), on August 2. Mohit is a key member of the Neeraj Bawania and Naveen Bali gangs and is wanted in connection with murder and attempt to murder cases. Nitin was a new entrant to the gang and had been involved in two criminal cases. Arms were recovered from both accused. A case has been registered at the Special Cell police station and further investigation is underway. ANI reported

Two individuals associated with the criminal group led by Himanshu, also known as Bhau Gang, were apprehended by the Special Cell of the South Western Range on August 2, according to the police. The arrested individuals have been identified as Mohit Sehrawat, aged 29, and Nitin Sehrawat, aged 28.

Authorities have revealed that Mohit is a significant member of both the Neeraj Bawania and Naveen Bali gangs, and he is wanted in connection with various cases of murder and attempted murder. Nitin, on the other hand, is a recent recruit to this criminal gang and has been involved in two criminal cases. He had previously been declared a proclaimed offender in a case registered at Maidangarhi police station.

The Special Cell’s raiding team conducted a search operation in Dwarka on August 2, acting on intelligence regarding the movement of the two suspects in the area. Their efforts paid off when they located Mohit sitting in a car with another individual on Gurudwara Road near Dwarka Metro Station. The team swiftly intercepted the vehicle and apprehended both occupants. Mohit was identified as the person in the passenger seat, while Nitin was the driver.

During the arrest, the police also discovered firearms in possession of the two accused. Mohit was found to be carrying a semi-automatic pistol along with four live rounds, while Nitin had a single-shot pistol along with six live rounds.

A case has been registered at the Special Cell police station, and further investigation is currently underway to gather more evidence and information..
