An autopsy has confirmed that a man found dead in a park in north-central Edmonton died from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim has been identified as 33-year-old Travis Cardinal. The police have not yet identified any suspects in connection with the case. A post-mortem examination conducted on the body of a man discovered deceased in a park in north-central Edmonton has confirmed that he was killed by multiple gunshot wounds, according to police statements made on Wednesday.

The police were alerted to a report of a firearm-related incident in the vicinity of 85th Street and 119th Avenue at approximately 6 p.m. on Friday. Upon arrival, they found an individual in a park who had sustained life-threatening injuries.
The victim received medical attention from paramedics and was subsequently transported to a hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The deceased has been identified by the police as Travis Cardinal, aged 33, and an autopsy carried out on Tuesday confirmed that his death was the result of a homicide.
The police have not disclosed whether they have any suspects under investigation.
