A four-and-half-year-old girl and three others have died in road accidents in Bengaluru. The girl, Poorva Rao, was riding a bike to preschool with her father when a rashly-driven BMTC bus hit them from the rear. The bus driver has been arrested. In another accident, a college lecturer and a kindergarten teacher died when their bikes collided. A 20-year-old youth was also killed when his scooter collided with a sports motorbike. TNN reported

A tragic series of road accidents in Bengaluru has resulted in the deaths of a four-and-a-half-year-old girl and three others since Tuesday night. One incident involved a BMTC bus colliding with a bike carrying the young girl, Poorva Rao, and her father on Subramanyapura Main Road. Poorva tragically lost her life in the accident, while her father sustained injuries. The police have held the bus driver, E Basavaraj Poojari, responsible for the incident.

In another collision, a college lecturer named D Narasappa and a kindergarten teacher named G Raksha were fatally injured when their bikes collided near Kengeri. Raksha’s friend Chandan, who was also riding the bike, survived the accident and is currently receiving medical treatment. Narasappa leaves behind his wife and two sons, while Raksha, who had already lost her father a year ago, was living with her mother.

Furthermore, a 20-year-old youth named Adil lost his life when his gearless scooter collided with a sports motorbike near Doddaballapur. Adil’s younger brother Murishid suffered minor injuries in the accident. Adil had recently quit his job in a private company. The collision occurred as the siblings were traveling towards Nandi Hills.
