A man named Jose Martinez was arrested in Harris County, Texas for driving while intoxicated with two child passengers in the vehicle. In Harris County, Texas, a traffic stop was conducted by Deputies from Pct. 4 Constable Mark Herman’s Office on a vehicle situated in the 100 block of Spring School Road. The driver, identified as Jose Martinez, exhibited multiple indicators of being under the influence and was found to have open containers of alcohol inside the vehicle.

Upon further investigation, it was revealed that Martinez was also transporting two child passengers, aged 8 months and 4 years, without the necessary child safety seats. To assess his level of intoxication, Standardized Field Sobriety Tests were administered, conclusively confirming his impaired state. Moreover, it was discovered that Martinez had a previous conviction for driving while intoxicated (DWI).
Constable Mark Herman stated, “Jose Martinez was apprehended and subsequently taken into custody, facing charges of Felony Driving While Intoxicated with a Child Passenger. His bail has been set at $10,000 by the 337th District Court.”
