The deceased individual discovered in the Colorado River on August 11 has been identified as Dickey Lee Frazier, an 88-year-old resident of Kingman.
According to a news release by the Bullhead City Police Department, Frazier’s identification was confirmed on Tuesday.
Authorities received a report of a lifeless body on August 11 at approximately 10:15 a.m., as stated by officials.
Upon arrival, law enforcement discovered an elderly man floating near the shoreline.
At the time, there were no apparent signs of criminal activity, and the man’s identity and cause of death were unknown. Subsequently, the Mohave County Medical Examiner’s Office was contacted for assistance.
The precise cause of death has not been disclosed by the police.
