A 10-year-old girl named Fatima was found brutally tortured to death in the home of a local religious leader in Ranipur, Pakistan. Fatima had been working as a domestic maid in the house for a year, and her mother was not allowed to see her. The girl’s body showed signs of severe torture, including bruises on her neck and back. The police have launched an investigation into the incident. Kamran Khamiso Khowaja reported

A graphic image depicting a young girl found brutally murdered has emerged, shocking the community of Ranipur, near Gambat. The distressing incident occurred on Monday but was only reported on Wednesday. The victim, a 10-year-old girl named Fatima from Naushero Feroze, had been employed as a domestic worker in the luxurious residence of a prominent local religious leader for the past year. Heartbreakingly, her mother was denied access to her while she worked in the religious leader’s house. The girl’s lifeless body was transported to her hometown on Wednesday for burial.

The grieving mother, upon receiving the devastating news of her daughter’s demise, was initially informed that Fatima had passed away due to severe stomach pain. However, upon examining the body, it became evident that the girl had endured brutal torture, evident from the presence of severe bruises on her neck and back. Overwhelmed with grief, the mother lamented the helplessness her daughter must have felt in her final moments. She demanded justice for her daughter, highlighting that financial constraints had forced her to send Fatima to work at such a young age.

Concerns have arisen regarding the First Information Report (FIR) filed by Ranipur Station House Officer (SHO) Ameer Chang. The FIR was lodged without requesting a medical examination or post-mortem to determine the cause of death, specifically whether torture was the contributing factor. SHO Chang, however, maintained that the young girl had succumbed to severe stomach pain.

Previously, a closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage from within the religious leader’s residence, obtained and broadcasted by a television channel, revealed the property owner dragging the girl by her hair. Another video showed Fatima writhing in agony on the floor before becoming motionless.

Following these distressing revelations, SHO Chang has been suspended, and Sukkur Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Zafar Jaskani has formed a high-profile team to conduct a thorough investigation into the matter from all perspectives..
