A corpse was discovered on a hillside and has been identified as the body of an elderly man who disappeared during an evening stroll four years ago, according to California authorities. The man, named Paul Farmer, was 84 years old and suffered from memory loss. He went missing on August 26, 2019, and despite extensive search efforts, he could not be located. However, in May 2023, the police were informed that Farmer’s identification card had been found in a nearby waterway in San Mateo County two months prior. This discovery led the officers to conduct a search in a densely wooded area just south of Highway 92 near Hillsdale Boulevard. Amongst thick vegetation, the police found human remains, which were later confirmed to belong to Farmer. The authorities expressed their gratitude to the agencies involved in locating Farmer and bringing closure to the investigation. Belmont, where the incident occurred, is a city located approximately 25 miles south of San Francisco.
