CASS COUNTY, MICH. – On the early morning of [date], troopers from the Niles Post of the Michigan State Police (MSP) were called to the scene of a motorcycle crash on M-51 Hwy near Maple Ln in Howard Township. The incident was initially reported through an iPhone crash alert at around 2:00 a.m. Upon arrival, the troopers discovered evidence of a motorcycle crash and conducted a brief search to locate the motorcycle and its rider.

Preliminary investigations indicate that the motorcycle rider was traveling northbound on M-51 towards Dowagiac when he suddenly veered off the road, losing control of the vehicle and colliding with an embankment.
