The Savannah Police Department (SPD) is currently conducting an investigation into a shooting incident that occurred in the early hours of the morning. At approximately 3 a.m. on Sunday, officers were called to a location off Ogeechee Road in response to the incident. Tragically, one individual has lost their life as a result of the shooting, while another victim has been transported to Memorial Hospital in critical condition. The situation is still unfolding, and further details are yet to be revealed.
In a separate development, it has been confirmed that human remains have been discovered in a burnt car. These remains have been identified as those of a missing individual from Grays Hill. The investigation into this matter is ongoing.
