The Kolkata Police apprehended two more students, identified as Manotosh Ghosh and Deepsekhar Dutta, bringing the total number of arrests to three. The incident occurred when the victim fell from a second-floor balcony at the boys’ hostel after reportedly being subjected to ragging by his seniors. Sourav Chowdhury, a former student at the university, was also arrested on Friday in relation to the case. The investigation is being overseen by senior officers of the Kolkata Police.
