A 6-year-old girl was killed by a leopard in Tirumala, Andhra Pradesh. The girl went missing near the Narasimha Swamy temple and was found dead near the Lakshminarasimhaswamy temple. Her father stated that she was ahead of them while climbing the footway and went to buy a biscuit packet. The police have taken the body for postmortem. ANI reported

A leopard in Tirumala, Andhra Pradesh, claimed the life of a six-year-old girl named Lakshitha, according to local authorities. The tragic incident occurred when the girl went missing near the Narasimha Swamy temple while walking along the Alipiri pathway to Tirumala. Her lifeless body was discovered the following day at the Lakshminarasimhaswamy temple. Lakshitha’s father, Dinesh, recounted that his daughter had gone ahead to buy a packet of biscuits while they were climbing the pathway. In the midst of a large crowd of devotees, they assumed she was ahead of them, but she never rejoined them. It was later revealed that she had fallen victim to a leopard attack near the Lakshminarasimha Swamy temple. Authorities arrived at the scene and transported the body to Tirupathi government hospital for postmortem examination. Further information is yet to be disclosed..
