A photograph captured a chair leaning against the bar, with a filled shot glass and a beer placed next to a gold “Reserved” sign, accompanied by lit candles. Furthermore, a roadside memorial has been established near the scene of the shooting on Hendricks Avenue.

Tara Baker, the second victim, was an innocent bystander who did not know Paige Pringle. The authorities responded to an accident report at 1403 Hendricks Avenue at approximately 1:30 am on Wednesday, 9th August 2023. Upon arrival, they discovered Paige Pringle with multiple gunshot wounds, and the lifeless body of Tara Baker nearby. Initially, the police were called regarding a collision between a train and a car.

CCTV footage from Fifi’s Fine Resale Apparel captured the events leading up to the fatal shooting. The video reveals a man wandering inside the store, as well as two vehicles passing by. One of these cars potentially belonged to the victims. Sergeant Rudlaff of the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office disclosed that Paige Pringle, who was driving an SUV, was shot, causing her to lose control of the vehicle. Consequently, her car collided with a train. It is speculated that Pringle may have stopped at the railroad gate when she was fatally shot.
