A Wappapello man was hospitalized and his vehicle was severely damaged in a crash on Highway 60 near Poplar Bluff. The accident occurred on August 10 when the driver, Jason Gholson, veered off the road and came to a stop in the wood line. A man from Wappapello was transported to the hospital following a severe collision on Highway 60, resulting in significant damage to his vehicle. The incident, as documented in the Crash Reports by the Missouri State Highway Patrol, occurred on August 10 at approximately 5:50 p.m. The driver was traveling eastbound on Highway 60, located one mile east of Poplar Bluff.
The driver, identified as Jason Gholson, aged 44, lost control of his vehicle, causing it to veer off the left side of the road. Subsequently, the vehicle crossed the median and eventually came to a halt within the adjacent wooded area.
Due to the impact of the crash, Gholson sustained moderate injuries and was promptly transported to the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center via an ambulance. At the medical center, he received the necessary medical attention and treatment for his injuries..
