Five people were killed in a crash on Interstate 81 in Franklin County, Pennsylvania. The crash occurred when the front left tire of an RV blew out, causing it to cross the median and collide with a tractor-trailer. The victims were identified as Donald Molander, Kimberly Molander, Miranda Molander, Dane Molander, and the truck driver, James Shade. The road was closed for over 10 hours but has since reopened. Five individuals lost their lives in a tragic accident that occurred on Wednesday night on Interstate 81 in Franklin County. The incident took place between Exit 16 (U.S. 30 – Lincoln Way) and Exit 20 (PA 997 – Scotland) in Greene Township, in the northbound lanes of I-81. The road had to be closed for over 10 hours following the crash, but it has now been reopened. According to Pennsylvania State Police, the collision was caused by a blown-out front left tire of a southbound RV. The RV veered across the grassy median and collided with a tractor-trailer that was towing double trailers. The victims in the RV have been identified as Donald Molander, Kimberly Molander, Miranda Molander, and Dane Molander, all hailing from Middletown. The driver of the tractor-trailer was named James Shade and was from Martinsburg, West Virginia. Sadly, all the victims were pronounced dead at the scene..
