A 29-year-old motorcycle rider was killed in a crash on a freeway transition ramp in Oceanside, California. The rider was on a Harley Davidson motorcycle when it went down on the ramp and was then hit by a Mitsubishi Outlander. The rider was taken to the hospital but did not survive. A tragic incident occurred in Oceanside, where a fatal motorcycle crash took place on a freeway transition ramp. The California Highway Patrol reported that a 29-year-old motorcyclist lost his life in the accident. Riding a 2012 Harley Davidson motorcycle at approximately 11 p.m., the man encountered an unfortunate mishap on the ramp connecting west state Route 78 to north Interstate 5. Subsequently, a Mitsubishi Outlander collided with the rider, leading to his hospitalization and eventual demise. Although the victim was an Oceanside resident, his identity remains undisclosed as the authorities await notification of his family members. The driver of the Mitsubishi, a 69-year-old man from San Diego, fortunately remained unharmed. Currently, an investigation is underway to determine the cause of the crash. Preliminary findings suggest that neither drugs nor alcohol contributed to the incident.
