A shooting incident is currently under investigation by Orange County deputies after one person was injured and hospitalized on Wednesday. Deputies responded to a report of a fight and subsequent car crash in the 8400 block of Curry Ford Rd. near Chickasaw trail at around 5:30 p.m. Upon arrival, law enforcement discovered that one of the individuals involved in the altercation had been shot. The victim, described as a man in his 30s, was promptly transported to the hospital and is expected to recover from the injuries sustained. Another individual, identified as a man in his 50s, was also taken to the hospital for injuries sustained during the fight. As of now, no arrests have been made, and the investigation is actively ongoing according to the sheriff’s office.
