A tragic accident occurred on northbound Interstate 81 near Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, when a recreational vehicle blew a tire, crossed the median, and collided head-on with a tractor-trailer. The collision resulted in the death of four individuals in the RV and the truck driver. The road was closed for 10 hours for investigation purposes. As a result, the RV crossed over the grassy median and collided head-on with the truck, which was hauling double trailers.

Tragically, the collision resulted in the loss of four lives in the RV, as well as the truck driver. All individuals involved were pronounced dead at the scene, and thankfully, no other injuries were reported. The deceased individuals in the RV have been identified as Donald Molander, Kimberly Molander, Miranda Molander, and Dane Molander, all residents of Middletown, Pennsylvania. The truck driver has been identified as James Shade from Martinsburg, West Virginia.

Following the accident, the affected section of the interstate highway was closed for approximately 10 hours to facilitate the investigation process. Although the road has since reopened, residual delays were experienced on Thursday morning..
